Ilchi Lee : Rules I like
By healeryoung on Apr. 22, 2008.
Personally I have two books changing my life. One is written by Ilchi lee. Actually that’s not just one books. Many books written by him have been inspiring me everyday. It touches my heart and soul. Recent book is ‘In full bloom’ for successful aging. And ‘Brain Wave Vibration’ will be released soon. I’m expecting that one. His book has introduced me to the world of energy, which is a language of instinct or insight. It shows us to live a life the way I truly intend. His books shows a kind of spiritual map toward completion of human being.
The other book is written by Anthony Robbins. Nowadays I’m reading one of his books, ‘Awaken the giant within’. It is explaining the principle very logically and experiencially. The part I recently read is about rules. ‘Everybody has a rule, which is a miniature court in their brain. By that, we decide all information coming to us, then we feel good or bad up to the judge of the court. So what we need to do is, Create a set of rules for moving-toward values that make it easy to feel good, and a set of rules for your moving-away-from values that makes it hard to feel bad. Ideally create a menu of possibilities with lots of ways to feel good.’ These are examples of someone.
Moving-toward values and rules :
Love - I experience love anytime I express love, give love to others, or allow myself to receive it
Health - I am healthy when I acknowedge how wonderful I already feel! Fun - I’m having fun when I find pleasure and joy in the process
Gratitude - I feel grateful when I appreciate all the things I have in my life right now
Freedom - I feel free when I live by my convictions and accept the choice to create happiness for myself
Moving-away-from values and rules :
Negativity - I avoid consistently depending on the acceptance of others for my ultimate happiness and success
Procrastination - I avoid consistently expecting perfection from myself and others
Ilchi lee created Brain Education System Training (BEST). That system has 5 steps. Sensitized brain - Flexible brain - Refreshed brain - Integrated brain - Masterful brain. When we are able to reset our rules in our brain, that is related to the forth step of BEST, Integrated brain. Step-by-step, we can change our brain then shape our life. We can do it!
Ilchi Lee dream for schools
By heather on Dec. 27, 2007.
Lee invites us, “Imagine a world in which all schools, all over the world, have integrated BE into their programs, and with the positive results that students increase their motivation, capability and performance. Then, when they become adults, they can contribute to creating a world of greater health, happiness, productivity, innovation and peace.”

Ilchi Lee article for BE on Yahoo
By heather on Dec. 27, 2007.
Emerging as the Industrial Revolution began, the “factory model” of education, which emphasizes orderliness and obedience, still dominates our schools. In the 1940s, measuring behaviors and reward-and-punish methods became accepted. Lee points out, “Students sit in rows of desks and teachers ‘teach to the tests.’ However this educational system is increasingly out of step in our global-scope, information-rich, technology-powered and fast-changing world.” Lee further observes, “The current educational system is burdened by self-centered students who resist social responsibility; youth with no sense of purpose and meaning in life; bullying and school violence generating fear and alienation; and cognitive-oriented content to the exclusion of innate capacities, such as wellness, joy, peace and respect for the Earth.

HSP now
By heather on Dec. 27, 2007.
Ilchi lee teaches that love health happiness and peace is inside of you and accepting that is a choice you can make at any time. When I think of this I am reminded of the buddist princple that life is suffering. Life is suffering because we are creating that with our thoughts and actions. I know thin intellectually but I notice I continue ti think and act in ways that create suffering in my life. I will watche and change.
